men behind the project are already recognised. Across
The Rubicon is a joint martial industrial act of Marcin

as a medium to express their fascination with martial

between 1910 and 1914 and then later preserved onto
78 rpm acetates. These recordings were resurrected
in 1986 by David Tibet (Current 93) on his Goetia
label under the title "The Hastings Archive /
The World As Power". An extremely collectable
piece for fans of the Great Beast's spoken word pieces,
Enochian Magic incantations and poetry. Presented
in a hand-numbered edition of 300 copies on white

Whereas 'Chronostatic Scenes' dealt with a dreamscape
athmosphere, 'North' is much colder and darker. The
mood of the album is like an arctic expedition from
somewhere into nowhere. Many of the sounds come from
acoustic instruments like guitars, accordion, gongs
and mouth organ, which were then processed, as well
as everyday objects. There are also environmental
recordings he made from the North Atlantic Ocean and
