Thompson
uses equipment that ranges from prepared guitar, digital
CD mixers, laptop, radio, and digital / analogue synthesizers,
as well as found objects and DIY circuit-bent devices.
The title opens with a dense fog of hypnotic sub-bass,
slowly threatened by a series of electronic lacerations.
The second piece is a electronic 'by mail' collaboration
with Scottish ensemble FOUND; a dense and intricate
piece with fuzz, lulls and pulses. Limited to 200 hand-numbered

built using an instrumentarium of drums, washing machine,

quiet, melodical passages. Noise extraordinaire! Presented

A hobby-horse of IMC has always been static music for
which you have to have special perception tuning - don't
expect that you'll be carried away by melodies or unusual
collages or some other evident tricks, here you should
let your attention creep inside the depth of sound,
feel it's texture by ear. And then minimalistic static
fields unfold in flowing layers of constantly transforming
waves. First disk is really cold, more "digital"
and heartless in feeling; second one is more warm and
shaggy, wheezy and distorted. Ltd x 57 pro-duplicated,

Za Frûmi is Simon Kölle (Musterion, Abnocto)
and Simon Heath (Atrium Carceri). "Gathering In
The Mist" is the third chapter in the Za Frûmi
saga. This is Dark Ambient / Dark Folk / Fantasy music,
with dialog in orcish and the language of the elves.
A 20-page booklet contains the manuscript (with a helpful
English translation) and the story, including what happened
in chapter 1 and 2. More than 20 'actors' helped out
creating this unique dark fantasy experience. This CD
is a step back to 'Za Shum Ushatar Uglakh' but also
a great step forward in production. All that love dark
fantasy, orcs, elves (Lord Of The Rings) and atmosphere
(early Mortiis etc) should own this highly recomended

today such as Xasthur, Bethlehem, Nortt and Leviathan
might perhaps be itching that ghost limb were Silencer
