Excellent release on the cult German label, Eis Und Licht, and of course from them you can expect only the best in Germanic neofolk music! A beautiful digipack, with 8 pages of lyrics – strong, solemn and melancholic, dark winds, acoustic guitars. Very nice piece.

SCIVIAS - '...And You Will Fear Death Not' CD (Eis Und Licht)
Hungarian act featuring an opera singer from Budapest and a popular Hungarian folk singer. The Concept of the album is the decline of the last traditional empire: Japan. Each single track describes another period of time and the then atmosphere in Japan. The sound, therefore, is extremely manifold and the music is not only pure folk. An excellent mix of neoclassical folk, and guitars with definite nods towards BLOOD AXIS, SOL INVICTUS, etc. A really nice piece in full colour glossy digipack with 12 page book on the cult EIS UND LICHT label. Recommended.
