Once immersed into the depth of the songs, you will hardly want to leave those regions again. It's difficult to describe it more applicable than the band itself has: "A dream about a dream within a wood...". Nature mysticism, fairytales, absolutely mesmerizing vocals and an archaic ritual-atmosphere are characterizing the songs, which are floating like the ghost of a mythical creature among old ruins and bushes of dark holler. Gentle, ethereal and sometimes even ghostly haunting sounds, created on all acoustic instruments such as flute, hurdy gurdy, reed organ and several stringed instruments apart from the classic acoustic guitar build the fruitful soil for a mystifying vocal performance. An enchanting swarm of different rattles, timbers, bells and rainmakers comes buzzing around the melody patterns, only scarcely driven by an occasional hypnotical beat of a hand drum. The surreal beauty of this second full length album knows to enchant the listener every second and to tickle his senses. This way even soft, calm and dreamy music can be utterly exciting. The influential debut album by Blood Axis was originally recorded in the winter of 1994-1995. Now that nearly 20 years have passed, the album finally sees its official re-release on vinyl - the best and most long lasting of formats. The music on "The Gospel Of Inhumanity" was created by Michael Moynihan and Robert Ferbrache through a combination of electronic, electric, and acoustic instruments, various source-tape recordings, vocals, and effects. An absolute milestone in military-verged Neoclassical music featuring a blend of martial industrial rhythms, classical parts with traditional instruments (almost medieval in places) and the strong voice of Michael Moynihan. Contains the definitive version of 'Reign I Forever'. "The Gospel Of Inhumanity was first released on CD by Cthulhu Records (1995), and later re-mastered and re-issued by Storm Records. This vinyl edition of "The Gospel Of Inhumanity" was engineered, recorded, mixed and mastered by Robert Ferbrache at Absinthe Studios, 1994-2013. The art design, liner notes, and calligraphy for the LP release were done by Michael Moynihan at the spring equinox of 2013; the graphic layout is by Markus Sterner. The original CD booklet featured a panoramic centerpiece of Pierre Fritel's stunning Les Conquérants, a massive painting first exhibited at the Paris Salon in 1892. This can be found on this LP release, along with some dramatic additional images in the same spirit, presented in an ideal gatefold format with printed inner sleeve.

Dark Ambient from Moscow. A conceptual album based on Tove Jansson's novel "Moominland Midwinter". An introspective and maudlin sound that corresponds perfectly with the darker tone of the original story. Although divided into tracks this 42 minute album works as one whole piece of music but translating the titles it seems to correspond with the story. Instruments make plodding tonesnat times building into what seem like dances and frolicking in the snow. These are interspersed by moments of complete ambience that are dream laden and drift by like the fleeting snow. There is at times a sense of danger... a deep rumbling noise ebbing and flowing and getting closer... your imagination will go into overdrive despite the chill somnambulant air of the ambient soundscape. B'eirth, the man behind In Gowan Ring, emerges as a visionary bard of the green, healing man's connection to the otherworld. A reposeful songwriting mixes with crystal clear and cleaning drones. There are ecstatic chants of wind in the crowns of trees and mystical paths through enchanted gardens of nature, waiting to be taken. IGR's third album "The Glinting Spade" was awakened between 1997 and 1999 during a period of complete isolation and the detection of new musical influences with a childlike passion. This music is a rather intimate affair. B'ee's compositions are captured and detained by him and his fellow musicians partly with regular, partly with unique instruments that were created for these recordings. The spiritual mood of the songs is driven by enchanting melodies and often ends up in rather mystifying kaleidoscopes of sound. B'ee adds fresh inspiration and creativity to the tradition of the great ancestors of psychedelic folk and singer / songwriter of the 60s and 70s, like Donovan, Perry Leopold, Nick Drake or Exuma. This long out of print record now receives a well deserved reissue. Housed in a 6-panel digisleeve with 16-page booklet.

Many of you will remember Otzepenevshiye from their split-album with Allerseelen and Neutral in 2008. The band consists of members of the well-known Russian post-industrial projects Sal Solaris and Reutoff. Vir' dates back to 1996, and have released 2 full-length albums. This album is not just a split but something more that combined the planes of both acts and surpassed their traditional sound, not always resembling the individual works of both projects. Roaring guitars and a live drum kit turn into measured industrial drum-machine rhythms, a clatter of iron sheets, synthesizers and field recordings, giving room to overdriven strings and profound insane vocals of Sergey Milushkin (Vir'). Metaphysically this album is a kind of optical device, a magic lantern with opaque glass - matching the anguish and desperation of Russian life. However looking more closely one can distinguish amazing patterns on the black soot of this glass behind which shines the everburning living fire. Ltd x 300 copies with slipcase.

Acoustic guitars, choirs, percussions, violins, wind instruments and a brass quartet recall a glorious past that tells us of a magical harmony in the relationship between man and nature. Each profound mystery was unveiled and the world's heart throbbed with sacred spirituality. Today, what is usually referred to as "civilization", "society", "evolution" has in fact decreed the end of the concepts of “community” and “culture” thus bringing materialism and appearance to triumph. Tears of Othila digs into myths, stories and legends looking for that "ancient warmth" that speaks to us of our origins and of our traditions. The steps of this journey walk through a path made of acoustic music that has its roots in traditional folk and in neofolk, melt with “classical” elements, medieval music and echoes of 70’s Italian progressive. The precious collaboration of many musicians has enriched the compositions of "Way to traditions", including the participation of Nicholas Tesluk of cult folk band Changes.
