The shaking notes that make up “Folding Space” were recorded by two people holed up in their whole respective imaginations of visions of loops, layers and pleading lyrics. They sought sounds from the same dreams that give fools belief and colourfully punctuate the nights of the sanest. There are elements of dreamy ether and discomfort rather than the easy choruses and catchphrases of the most collected and consumed art form. Echran is the duo of Davide Del Col (Ornament) and Fabio Volpi (Otolab). Echran's music is a form of post-industrial ambient mixed with analogical echoes of the 70s and the 80s, all combined with cold digital sequences and an obsessive metronomic minimalism. The whole work sounds intense and compact, closing to a sort of song composition, a good use of melodies mixed to a great amount of noise. The French vocal themes are a sort of a self-confession, bright and crazy: scars of reality in an ocean full of nasty and unhealthy fanaticism. Ltd x 500 copies.

HYBRYDS - 'Ritual Anthology' CD

The anthology of early ritual works of this fabulous Belgian project. Hybryds present their visions of rituals in the form of rhythmical compositions built on repetitive percussive loops crowned with layers of numerous archaic instruments, aided by vocal spells and atmospheric soundscapes with minor electronic additions. This music immerses the listener into the space of RITUAL - the magical action aimed to reach the goals beyond the borders of the ordinary world. This material was recorded in 1986-1993 by Magthea & Yasnaia with the help of their friends: Ah Cama Sotz, Djen Ajakan Shean, Vidna Obmana, Clive Richards, Irae Deprofundo and Bobby Colombo. Three tracks from this CD were previously released on "The Rhythm Of The Ritual" CD, one track was released as "The Ritual Should Be Kept Alive - Part 1" CD EP, and three other tracks are released here for the first time. Ltd x 600 copies in a silk-screened bronze/black corrugated cardboard digipak.

During the 80s, Kiyoshi Mizutani was a member of Merzbow with Masami Akita, beginning his solo work in 1989. Mizutani's sound is characterised by use of primitive electric feedback and field recordings. Soundscape theory is integral to his work. Kiyoharu Kuwayama began working with sound in the late 1980s, using half-scale violin and contact mic, daily junk and found objects. In 1999 he started improvised acoustic duo Kuwayama-Kijima. Hideaki Shimada is a Japanese violinist. In the late 70s he became interested in the European improvised music scene. Since 1980, he has been involved in violin improvisation. In 1985, he started solo project, Agencement. His solowork has been described as both noise and music, avantgarde and minimalist, nervous and mellow, frantic and still, hectic and calm. Recorded at Gambetta, Tokyo in 2001.

The project Kshatriy appeared on the Russian post-industrial scene in 2004 and Muzyka Voln now presents the project's first "professional" CD with the album "Slepok Sonzaniya" ("a mould of consciousness"). This work is based on the concept of consciousness of a warrior, a galactic warrior of light, bringing to world pure knowledge, infinite silence, perfect balance, a moment of power and might, a flight of freedom, love, serenity, joy, light, unified time, eternal life, simplicity and bliss. The music of the project can be described as fractal dark drone ambient with lots of patterns, woven from various sonic fibres: synthesized drones, processed field recordings, acoustic echoes and rhythmic loops. Calm and profound, filled with resilience and hidden power, like an endless ocean of tranquility, energy and beauty. Ltd x 500 copies in a digipak.

This CD is a collection of rare tracks by this most famous French noise project. It represents the pioneering Bruitism music in the most raw and powerful mode, it's still going strong and hitting hard, thus should be not missed by any real noise fans. Disc one, "Tezcatlipoca", is the actual collapsing of stars. This monstrous soul goes from grumbling angrily to mowing the heavens. Parts even cross into early Swans territory with aggressively fractured pacing. But all roads lead to the final track which is an epic length doom metal anthem of sweating proportions. Disc two, "Quetzalcoatl", diffuses into the air an alien vocabulary of electronic-esque gargles and hums. A soundtrack made from the residue left after a subterranean dowsing for the echoes of collapsing stars. These disembodied post-transmissions form up in a Minerva’s Web of sunken Titanic ghosts, slow moaning as from distant caverns. Both CD’s have been composed so they can also be played simultaneously. If "Tezcatlipoca" is overground and “Quetzalcoatl” is underground their combination must be all things… and no things. Maybe the sound of the end of things. The resultant juxtaposition is a colossal celestial being smiling down on all he tramples. Packaged in a full colour, custom made hardback 10-panel sleeve.

This voyage began in the middle of the 1990's in Moscow, when a group of artists and musicians led by Alexei Tegin and based at the legendary Fabrique of Cardinal Art commenced their studies of traditional ritual music, drifting away from the field of contemporary electroacoustic and industrial music with the intent to delve deeper into the ancient musical cultures of the ancient Egypt, Iran and Tibet.
The original 2003 lineup of the project that emerged as a result was dubbed Phurpa (one of the five tutelary deities of the Father Tantra in Bon tradition), and all the members have carried on with their research in the field of Tibetan liturgies up to the present day. Ltd x 500 copies in an outsized 6-panel sleeve.

"Valediction" is the first all new Ramleh album since 1997, and the first new Power Electronics recordings from the project for 25 years. "While I was recently traveling through Eastern Europe recently, I passed through an area of industrial decline that reminded me strongly of the devastation of the Industrial heartlands of the UK during the early Thatcher years. The broken windows and twisted metal of the abandoned warehouses, the derelict pit-heads and the ruined factories all brought back memories of that grim time when the divide between rich and poor was never so obvious. Yet amongst the derelict factories and the red-brick estates of the North of England new music and art sprang forth as if driven by the desolate conditions. Out of the darkness came forth beauty in many forms. Wasteland Raga is a remembrance of those times when art and politics held close and intertwined out of a real sense of purpose and unity... Sphere Rex is the solo project of MK (Cyclotimia), playing ambient in a traditional vein (uncommon for today), combining minimalism and a background style of electronic music a la Brian Eno and piano improvisations based on proto-ambient ideas of Erik Satie. This music is able to calm down and lull to sleep like alpha-wave rhythms or paint weird images guided by the surreal titles of compositions in one's imagination. For the goals of complete authenticity only analogue devices were used in recordings, as well as tube pre-amps and compressors from 60s-70s. Ltd x 500 copies. Russian import.
