For almost forty years Z'EV has been at the absolute forefront of experimental music. Throught playing percussive ritual music he gained a lot of well-earned attention, but in more recent years he has returned to working with electronic tape manipulation. On 'Forwaard' he uses field recordings made by Frans De Waard, which are 'recoded' by Z'EV into a 40-minute, densely layered pattern of musique concrete.
