"Feuerstern" ("Firestar") captures two tracks of luminous tones and magnetic resonances, which create a warm and floating aural flux. With mellow concrete material setting the counterpoint, very subtle hisses, smacking and clicking sounds can be distinguished. These are enriched further on Side B with field recordings by Michael Northam, made in 2006 at the Audioframes Sonic Art Festival in Herne. This was where "Feuerstern" was also performed in a choreographed way using fireworks! Very delicate tone colours and a perfectly balanced sound pattern allow for contemplative listening sessions. The 7" comes in a golden lettered and embossed grey cardboard box with golden printed inlay. First edition of 300 copies on dark red vinyl.

"Die Organik" is the second joint release by Xeno Volcano and poet Elektra Sturmschnell. Like their other release, "Wasserleichentraume", the album is a fusion of sound and spoken word. The sound sources for the album are orchestrated noise, instruments, and recordings. The result is soft, complex noise and harmonies. Elektra’s voice is treated into the sound as an instrument, and at times is manipulated beyond recognition. The mood of the album is of bleakness; the desert. Sound sources include: field recordings of the Grand Canyon, destruction of humboldt, CA Redwood trees, the N Judah where it meets the ocean, Berlin traffic at Alexanderplatz, Arizona desert silence, overhead air traffic, Zürich traffic at Hardbrücke, drills and other power tools instrumentation, microwave antennae pickup, human voice,etc. A fascinating excursion.
