T.O.M.B. (Total Occultic Mechanical Blasphemy) is a mysterious entity known for crafting the darkest noise recordings with the aid of nothing but field recordings - here were made at Pennsylvania's darkest landmarks including: Bethlehem Steel Works (manufacturer of large calibre guns during WWI and WWII), a 157 year old gothic church destroyed by arson, a 170 year old cemetery, a high school where students were burned alive 30 years ago (and the site of countless suicides since). Through these field recordings, smashing recording rods into massive steel structures and ancient crypt doors, T.O.M.B. reawakens the decaying structures and the agonizing history they hold sealed. The recordings are then crafted into the darkest, heaviest Black Noiseever recorded. "Macabre Noize Royale" is T.O.M.B.'s most diverse album by far. Integrating pure noise with ambience, Industrial and Black Metal. The clear intention is to push the boundaries of Black Noise sound manipulation and continue to shock the listener.

Dream-team hook-up between a trio of the most important free-noise theorists of the modern age: The New Blockaders and Thurston and Jim of Sonic Youth et al. Hard to work out who is doing exactly what here - though the presence of drummer Chris Corsano on the second track is pretty unmistakable - but the overall feel is of one of TNB's early 'Symphonie X' works, populated by thin strings of feedback, the crackle of electronic jack-to-jack friction and a subtle ring of bone. Beautifully eerie and a little more pro-drone than the bulk of TNB's work. The second track is just unbelievable, with a slow hiss of feedback torn apart by Corsano's triumphal, spirit / energy scattershots, marching a legion of ghosts all the way over the horizon. TRAIT (A.K.A. ERIC LUNDE) - 'Inspirationals' CD (Industrial Recollections)
Back in 1988 Arbeit Group released obscure industrial-noise release by a project called Trait. The A-side of the tape included several different arrangements for inspiration in battle. The B-side included several of those arrangements combined together for temporary unified action. 45 minutes of the most primitive analogue destruction, leaving no place for easy listening or relaxing moments. Coarse sounds of tape loops, manipulation and electronics make this into difficult industrial-noise. Trait is one of the most vicious works of Eric Lunde (Boy Dirt Car). The material has been transferred from the original master tapes by the artist himself, leaving everything 100% as is. The artwork is faithful to the original release, replicating the it as accurately as possible.
