FEAR FALLS BURNING - 'Frenzy Of The Absolute' CD (Conspiracy Records)
On this album Dirk Serries (Vidna Obmana) blends his drone spectrum with slow repetitive drums (with drummers such as Tim Bertilsson / Switchblade and Magnus Lindberg / Cult of Luna), and additional guitar layers, manifesting a work of mysterious landscapes of ghostly echoes and whispered guitars, long stretches of blissy drift and dark washes of distorted hiss... Over the past 2 years FFB has manifested itself as a wilful and unique statement in the ever expanding drone music genre. Digipak.

KINIT HER - 'Glyms Or Beame Of Radicall Truthes' CD (Hinterzimmer)
Wisconsin act Kinit Her are triumvirate a realm of qliphotic vibrations. They employ a wide array of sources from the Purple Analects of Taoism up to modern day conspiracy theories. The record is informed by the 80's British underground experimental scene, 90's Scandinavian black metal, and the timelessness of all folk currents, embroidered with witches croons and crystalline sonic manipulation. Comes in a nice chipboard, gatefold digisleeve. Swiss import.
KISS THE ANUS OF A BLACK CAT - 'The Nebulous Dreams' CD (Conspiracy Records)
Kiss The Anus Of A Black Cat has always been utterly fascinated with primitive savagery and heathen tactics. On this third full length endeavor, they explore and recast their horror-filled doom theme in the light of current debates on modernity and globalization. Minimalist instrumentation and hypnotic ultra dramatic vocals are wrapped in equal parts doom ridden heresy, the percussion is stripped down off hazy emotions and stretched into a pure vessel of magical strength, where a muted buzz deliberately enforces mental overload. A divine doom folk/rock cloud that shares apocalyptic interests with such visionaries as Current 93, Woven Hand, Richard Youngs, Comus and other uplifting pagan psych-folk. Digifie.
Debut 'EP' from this French duo containing the two title tracks and two remix tracks. 'Psychoide' is a "gorgeous soft cacophony of epic post rock drift", while 'Participation Shift' has "deep soft swells of shimmering warmth and distant bits of industrial clatter, a slow burning ambient drift that is eventually joined by a simple motorik rhythm". The two remix tracks are: 'Psychoide' remixed by SCANNER (Robin Rimbaud) and Participation Mystic remixed by JESU (Justin Broadrick of Final, Techno Animal, Godflesh). The result is a very cinematic, mesmerising warm piece of music, spanning 43 minutes. Limited to 1000 copies in a nice digipak with sticker.

MONNO - 'Error' CD (Conspiracy Records)
Dense, abstract, challenging, and confrontational. Monno stands out from the legacy of doomsayers that includes Throbbing Gristle, Suicide, Whitehouse, and more recently Wolf Eyes and Lightning Bolt. Monno are impressively abrasive in sending atomic blasts of fury, but beneath the shock value of these overwhelming sonic miasmas are throat-grappling melodies evoking a dense, brutal trance. The CD is presented in a very nice silver outsized booklet.

MONNO - 'Ghosts' CD (Conspiracy Records)
Monno have come a long way, extending their malignant nature through thick layers of fog. For this new burial they've built a soundtrack like creeper with traces of gargling glass and atonal spheres that swing through the tracks like unidentified floating objects in the sky. At times you get the feeling your brain is attached to a mechanical beehive suffering various degrees of degradation resulting from the ingress of water and salt attacks. Without doubt their most brutal and menacing album to date, etheric yet droning vocals covered in doom frost... An impaired psychomotor as troublesome as the stars that hang above us, with the reeking odor of a thousand corpses. Think along the abandoned shores of Corrupted, Burning Witch, Ulver or Godflesh. SUNBURNED CIRCLE - 'The Blaze Game' CD (Conspiracy Records)
As the title would suggest, this is a meeting of Sunburned Hand Of The Man (USA) and Circle (Finland). During SHOTM's European tour in September 2006, they teamed up with Circle in Tampere, Finland, jammed together and recorded all of it. This session was edited down to a total of 40-minutes which wanders ongoing through free folk, kraut, psych, improv, spaced out, hippy jamming and noisy-rock bizarreness. The collaboration of both America's and Finland's weirdest, is nothing less than sensational. Presented in a 6-panel digipak.

TRANSITIONAL - 'Nothing Real, Nothing Absent' CD (Conspiracy Records)
Transitional is the new project of musician producer Kevin Laska (Novatron) and Dave Cochrane (Jesu, Grey Machine, God, Head Of David). The debut 'Nothing Real, Nothing Absent' offers a rich variety in their approach to sound, combining crushing atmospheres through a mixture of electronic ambience, mangling bass lines and distorted epic layers of textured guitar. Injected with driving rhythms and effected vocal phrasing Laska and Cochrane build discordant worlds on an immense scale which pull you down to another level of fear and ethereal bliss before kicking off with some more soul dismantling sonic dysfunction. This is a band which can deliver both sonic tranquility and extremely heavy slabs of dense music and just about everything in between. File next to Godflesh, Sunn O))), Isis. Digipak.
