ARDITI - 'Standards Of Triumph' CD (Equilibrium Music)
(2006) Boasting the unique personality of Swedish combo H. Möller (Puissance) and M. Björkman, "Standards of Triumph" taps further into the darker tones of Militaristic Neoclassical ambiance that has become the band's trademark, resulting in their strongest effort so far - ever effective in their use of crushing orchestrations and evocative speeches, Arditi hereby drags the listener around muddy trenches, leaving aside overly pompous festive marches or alcohol fuelled merry bunker songs which seem to have become the norm as of late, and casting an hypnotizing veil over the turmoil of warfare-inspired Industrial soundscapes.
