"Live In London 1982" is the Beat Generation revamped. Recorded in Brixton four years before the death of Beat legend, this live set features Gysin reciting poems from the late '50s and early '60s, accompanied by a makeshift no wave backing band consisting of Slits bassist Tessa Pollitt (also on cello), Rip Rig Panic, drummer Steve Noble, Penguin Cafe Orchestra percussionist Gile and guitarist Ramuntcho Matta. Most of the texts were written upon meeting Burroughs, at the time of the invention of the cut-up. The influence that Brion Gysin has had on contemporary music may never be taken fully into account. The music is resolutely avant rock: dissonant, provocative, and largely improvised. Gysin called this session "White Funk". Live in London 1982 is an interesting document, which will appeal to connoisseurs of William S. Burroughs and Brion Gysin's legacy.
Vinyl-only LP of readings by Hackney-based psychogeographer Iain Sinclair, featuring some of his best poetry and fiction from the 1970s to present - Lud Heat, Suicide Bridge, White Chappell Scarlet Tracings, and Downriver. The album was recorded in situ at East London and City locations featured in the books. Stone Tape Shuffle, which also includes material from Sinclair's vast archive (including a 'lost' tape), as well as numerous field recordings, takes its inspiration from Giorno Poetry Systems, William S. Burroughs and French tradition. The readings mark a return to the 'punk-vorticism' of the mid-1970s and to the handwritten and self-published era. The sleeve is handsomely illustrated with a selection of new photos, taken on the day of recording across East London and the City, plus photos from Iain’s collection spanning his career.

Available for the first time on DVD! This is the deluxe DVD/CD reissue of the cult 1984 German film featuring William S. Burroughs, Genesis P-Orridge (Throbbing Gristle, Psychic TV), F.M. Einheit (Einstürzende Neubauten), Christiane F, the prolific underground film star Bill Rice. The DVD features include a beautiful colour-rich transfer of the film with newly translated English subtitles, the original trailer, a slide show of 75 still production photos by Ilse Ruppert, a documentary on the Italian 'Decoder Collective', a 46-minute audio interview with filmmaker Klaus Maeck, rare footage of Derek Jarman filming Burroughs on set, and Berlin riot news footage used in the film with a music loop by Genesis P-Orridge commissioned specially for this DVD release. The soundtrack CD features Soft Cell, early Einstürzende Neubauten, Matt Johnson (The The), Dave Ball and Genesis P-Orridge, and William Burroughs. A lot of the music on the CD is not in the film and vice versa. NTSC, Region 0 (also plays on PAL DVD players), full screen format. 87 minutes.

This is the first in a series of reprint programme of the most representative titles from the TRAX catalogue, one for each letter of the name: T for Traxman, the comics series created for Frigidaire magazine by Massimo Giacon and Vittore Baroni; R for Rednight, a collective homage to the work of William S. Burroughs; A for Anthems, alternative national hymns for real and imaginary countries; X for Xtra, audio works composed at distance through a process of crossed interferences. Each reprint, accompanied with old and new texts, contemplates a digital remastering of the original works with the addition of remixes, remakes or new compositions created in concordance with the peculiar and distinctive "modular" approach of TRAX.
