The highly anticipated new album by the Swedish duo (Henry Möller of Puissance and Marten Björkman) is finally upon us. "Omne Ensis Impera" introduces an additional strength to Arditi's compositions - epic orchestral loops and thunderous percussions are granted a more prominent role, stirring the damp and suffocating ambiance that the duo have always produced so well with their use of ominous synths, obscure speeches and mesmerizing narrations. "Omne Ensis Impera" could well be a modern interpretation of the Futurist's goal of glorifying warfare to an artistic expression beyond its inherent violence and intrinsic sense of heroism. Nordvargr is the more dark ambient project by Henrik Nordvargr Björkk (the man behind MZ.412 / Folkstorm / Toroidh / Vargr and many other projects). This is a special commemorative album featuring two dark and cosmic tracks: track one was recorded July 21 2011 in the best possible conditions; track two was recorded July 23 2011 in a state of shock. On July 22 2011 the Utøya massacre happened in Norway. This album is dedicated to the memory of those who died. All music performed live on modular synthesizer, no overdubs or processing added. KAZERIA (KZ) - 'Credo Nostrum' CD (Twilight Records)
Kazeria [KZ] means “Hunt” in Spanish. This solo project started in 2008 is lead by Argentinean composer [S]. “Credo Nostrvm” ("Our Creed") has nine tracks inscribed onto a martial, neofolk, neoclassical and dark ambient combination, dealing with some themes that represents [KZ] main topics: the meaning of glory, decadence, eternity, struggle, occult and sacred symbols of forgotten times. [S] spouts out a harsh vision about reality, which could be understood as “active nihilism”. This is its way to relate to this current decaying age which, in [S] words, “must be overcome”. The Hunt has begun! KZ wears its influences on its sleeve: Toroidh, Wappenbund and Triarii. Digipak.
