Swedish Dark Folk project from former Unio Mystica member and Karjalan Sissit live musician. Though relying heavily on acoustic guitars, Sub Luna also incorporates the use of strings, tremolo and even slide guitar, which at times move their brand of dark folk into lounge/pop territory. "The Graves of Andras" is based on four particular spirits/demons (Astaroth, Asmodeus, Andras, and Lilith) and the use of Sonic Black Magic. The three primary spirits are Goetic, and represent various parts of the subconscious. Astaroth and Asmodeus were invoked during the recording of this album during October 2000. The Musick is based upon the invocation of these forces and acts as a "Sigil of Sound" from which the listener may use the recording for the materialisation of the spirits within the performance. Lilith is the balance point of the album because this Lunar Goddess symbolizes the night, sorcery, and the forces of Black Magic. This recording is intended as a gateway towards the Demonic Realms. A mix of Death Industrial and Black Ambient.
