(2008) Jännerwein is a brilliant new Folkband from the breathtaking Salzburg countryside around the holy mount Untersberg, the myserious home of Sturmpercht. They play their very own style; a mix of old school Folkmusic and Neofolk with some Martial rhythms, Alpine-Folk and even some medieval elements. Jännerwein use many traditional alpine instruments, but they also use some electronics, creating a warm and heimish atmosphere in all their songs. "III" is a 3-way split album by the German Neofolk bands Seelenthron, Traum'er Leben and Trinithos. On this album each band interprets their favourite songs by the other 2 acts - and also includes one own new song by each artist. The finale of "III" is a bonus track by Alexander Meier (Seelenthron) - a fantastic, neoclassical cover version of the Soulsearch / Sturmpercht song 'Traumkampf'. Presented in a very nice digipak.
