GLAUFX GARLAND'S VIRIDIAN GREEN - 'So Many Secrets Lost In Time I Don't Want To See You Again In My Secret Garden' CD (CAPP)
Dark, black horror ambient with gloomy gothic vocals, pipe organ, piano and electronics. A ritual soundtrack reminding of Remanence or Coil in places. Glaufx Garland is the man behind Viridian Green / Viridian Grin.
The first Incapacitants vinyl LP album in 20 years, since the legendary "Repo" (Alchemy Records, 1989). Side-A features three brand new recordings with a solid sense of direction, keeping vigorous strength and stormy dynamics on each track. Side-B is a lengthy excerpt from the overwhelming live recording of Mikawa and Kosakai at ShowBoat in Tokyo, 2007. Maximum purity as psychosomatic union proved by intensive electronics causing ghostly and fertile atmospheres filled with harshness. "Tight" is the same pronunciation with the most complex Kanji character formed by three dragons and three clouds. Limited hand-numbered limited of 620 copies, in a silk-screened sleeve with a golden Kanji "Tight". The accompanying 12 paged booklet contains photos and Japanese / English liner-notes by Takuya Sakaguchi.

KTL - '2' CD (Editions Mego)
KTL is Stephen O'Malley (Sunn O))), Gravetemple, Æthenor, Thorr's Hammer) and Peter Rehberg (PITA). Devastatingly beautiful four part follow up to the acclaimed debut CD recorded in a former abattoir in Angers, as well as a 16th Century manor in the west of France. Taking the blueprint that was laid out on the first record even further, with the ecstatic build up of ‘Theme’, the near psychedelic ‘Abattoir’, and closing with the twisted romanticism of the closing ‘Snow 2’. An upgrade both artistically and emotionally. As with the first CD elements appeared in the finished version of the theatre piece ‘Kindertotenlieder’ by Gisele Vienne and Dennis Cooper, which was premiered in Brest, France, March 2007. Cover by SOMA.

OF THE WAND AND THE MOON - 'The Lone Descent' CD (Heidrunar Myrkrunar)
The long awaited and anticipated 5th album from Denmark's Of The Wand & The Moon. Kim Larsen takes a different road to the previous albums. 60's influenced, where the love for Lee Hazlewood and Serge Gainsbourg shines through. Still keeping the dark Neofolk roots, "The Lone Descent" is without doubt the most bleak and melancholic album from Of The Wand & The Moon, and clearly shows Larsen's brilliant talent as a singer/songwriter. Features guests: Lorenzo Woodrose (Baby Woodrose), Aron, Soma Allpass (Mew, Martin Hall), Bo Rande (The William Blakes, Mew, Blue Foundation), John Murphy (Death In June, Knifeladder, Nico, SPK), John van der Lieth (Sonne Hagal) and Anne Eltard (Solanaceae, OTWATM). CD comes in glossy spotvarnished slipcase and 24 pages booklet. Features the artwork of Alex Rose.

ONTAYSO - 'Magical Tone Tricks' CD (Silentes)
"Magical Tone Tricks" was created during the silent night hours by the two core members of Ontayso, Koen Lybaert and Esther Santoyo. For this release they mainly focused on electronic manipulations and field recordings. The overall atmosphere spread over the 4 long tracks comes close to the well known early Basic Channel sound, but "Magical Tone Tricks" still keeps it's unique experimental Ontayso sound. It is also their response to Rod Modell's releases on Silentes and shows their mutual love for this early 90's Berlin sound and their joy of working with field recordings and minimal sound manipulations.

SOMA - 'The Inner Cinema' CD (Extreme)
SOMA return with a fistful of music, having journeyed into the cinematic realms of Ennio Morricone and Sergio Leone with more than a hint of Andre Breton and Luis Bunuel. "The Inner Cinema" continues to explore the filmic qualities that made their debut "Hollow Earth" such a standout album. David Thrussell (Snog, Black Lung) and Pieter Bourke (Dead Can Dance collaborator) paint an intriguing soundscape that allows the imagination and the memories to be prompted into a vision splendid.
