Side 1 utilises a crazed out beatbox sound and intermingles the beat patterns with all kinds of noise and tape splicings. Woven in with this active soundscape is Cranioclast’s signature sound - distant voices. This time the human factor creeps in in the form of a small child babbling away. CD re-issue of the first instalment in the "Cosmic Debris" split ART-LP series. This volume sees My Cat Is An Alien (Maurizio and Roberto Opalio) alongside Text Of Light (Lee Ranaldo of Sonic Youth, Alan Licht, DJ Olive, Ulrich Krieger and Tim Barnes). Text Of Light's track was recorded live at Centre Georges Pompidou in 2003 and mixed in dual mono by Ranaldo & Licht in NYC. MCIAA's piece is a conceptual ouverture to the whole series, performed in April 2006 at their secret recording space called Alien Zone, located up the Italian Western Alps. The CD comes in a textured digisleeve with reproductions of the original LP artwork. A Silent Place is a sub-division of Small Voices, Italy.

This is the first in a series of reprint programme of the most representative titles from the TRAX catalogue, one for each letter of the name: T for Traxman, the comics series created for Frigidaire magazine by Massimo Giacon and Vittore Baroni; R for Rednight, a collective homage to the work of William S. Burroughs; A for Anthems, alternative national hymns for real and imaginary countries; X for Xtra, audio works composed at distance through a process of crossed interferences. Each reprint, accompanied with old and new texts, contemplates a digital remastering of the original works with the addition of remixes, remakes or new compositions created in concordance with the peculiar and distinctive "modular" approach of TRAX. This is an extended reissue of the cassette from 1982 (Trax, Ltd x 500). CD1: "Notterossa" is the full length orginal tape edited by V. Baroni & D. Ciulini. CD2 "Rednight" is a new creation by Giancula Becuzzi, assembled in 2006 at KXLab. Comes in an A4 sleeve.
