Clear Water / Baishui CLEAR WATER (BAISHUI) - 'Time' CD (Midnight Productions / Oro Prod)

(2008) This work is about the artist's hometown - a small town in the Chinese province of Sichuan... about the memorial arch, which has stood erect for hundreds of years... the bright moonlight on the small bridge over the flowing stream... the cherry blossoms and wild flowers... the elders with their soft voices and laughing faces. 40 minutes of simple and honourable township ballads and folksongs, which have been handed down for generations. An absolutely stunning release, presented in an 8-panel matt digipak with booklet, insert and dried flowers. Like a strange Chinese version of Sturmpercht? All text in Chinese. Ltd x 500.

Contagious Orgasm CONTAGIOUS ORGASM - 'Spill Drop' CD (Waystyx)

(2005) The next step in Hiroshi Hashimoto’s creative evolution. One of the most controversial Japanese musicians presents a dense stream of sound. Flashes of sexual obsession, ritualism and culture permeate this release. On one hand we find micro-glitches, subtle melodies and controlled rhythmic clicks & cuts; whilst on the other much more experimental sounds with rough field recordings, noisy frequencies, distorted voices, sinewaves and continuous glitches. Features contributions from Bastard Noise and Guilty Connector. Presented in a transparent wrap with printed heavy tyre sleeve! Ltd x 410 hand-numbered.

Control CONTROL - 'Misanthrope' CD (L-White Records)

(2003) 3rd Control CD, which continues to see a positive evolution in this American act's sound. "Strong, shuddering currents of thick electronics, with a crushing underbelly of boiling, frying, layered frequencies, the vocals streaming forth in a sickeningly wet fashion. Much more structure going on here than the past, but twice the unbridled power. Excellent..." [Malignant]. Limited to 500 copies in a nice digipak.

Endura ENDVRA - 'Black Eden' CD (Red Stream)

(2005) Reissue of the long deleted classic, originally released in 1996. Endvra are electronic soundscape alchemists Christopher Walton (TenHornedBeast) and Stephen Pennick (Ontario Blue), combining synths with (un)healthy doses of Crowley, Lovecraft and psychedelic chemical enhancement. Nothing in the Dark Ambient category has ever emerged to dethrone this work of sinister aural mystery. "Black Eden" is a HP Lovecraft tale set to music: medieval devil worship and sabbat dancing invoking preternatural beasts which inhabit the realm of Cthulhu and are spoken of in the fabled "Necronomicon". A truly horrifying masterpiece. "Gold Edition".

Herman Kopp HERMANN KOPP - 'Nekronology – Nekromantik Recordings' CD (Red Stream)

£5 Meltdown (2004) "Nekronology" is a compilation of mournful musical selections from director Jorg Buttgereit's infamous films, “Nekromantik”, “Nekromantik 2”, and “Der Todesking”. The tracks contained on this release were performed by artist Hermann Kopp (please note that these recordings are not the complete soundtracks to those films, only the pieces Kopp himself composed). The idea behind the music was to create a dreary atmosphere through a raw, ritualistic sound. You can hear Kopp's signature violin groans, and moog synthesizer during scenes such as the bathtub suicide, the rabbit being skinned alive, and the necrophilia sequences. Co-released with underground splatter mag, Ultra Violent.

Hilter HILTER - 'Sex Films' CD (Ars Benevola Mater)

(2008) In this release the use of electronics is especially wholesome and not used as a mere backdrop. This album has moments of sheer splendour and is more than just an enjoyable excursion of hard electronics. An endless stream of resonating frequencies, swinging from higher harmonics to lower pitches, reflective but totally alien music. A cohesive and enjoyable collection of explicit sadist episodes expressing Industrial talent with lasting potential. A great album in all, with a variety of sounds. Ltd x 500 copies in an outsized textured sleeve with artcard.

***This release contains artwork of an explicit sexual nature. Please include a statement that you are 18+ when ordering this release.***

Kadaver KADAVER - 'This Time... It's Cancer' CD (Topheth Prophet)

(2007) Latest release by Israeli death industrial / harsh noise / twisted ambient prodigy Kadaver (Michael Zolotov). This is a cancer. It’s sickness. It’s a warm streaming vomit of hatred towards life, humans and existence. It’s the knife in your hand when nightmares twist your dreams. It’s the emptiness that devours your meaningless being and bleed as tears of decay over it. "...Death needs time for what it kills to grow in..." (William S. Burroughs). Limited to 500 copies.

Koan KOAN - 'Frontiers' CD (Red Stream)

£5 Meltdown (2000) French act (featuring member of BM act Himinbjorg) with a frosty touch. Utilising a lot of old-school analogue sounds, the duo layer melancholic ethno-amient percussion (ala Muzlimgauze) on top of electronic, beat-driven mantras, rich percussive rumbles, ambient textures and tones. A nice mixture, nicely packaged.

Richard Francis RICHARD FRANCIS - 'Together Alone, Together Apart' CD (CMR)

"The building blocks of 'Together Alone, Together Apart' by New Zealand's Richard Francis are 'sound moments': sonic interludes of a dozen or so seconds of environmental sound, whose subtle arrangements and cross-contaminations are the springboard for the compositions found here. Given the quiet volumes, sounds at the threshold of audibility are presumably those which have captured his imagination. A soft hiss and variable low end frequency introduce the first untitled track, with small crackles, glitches and echoes sporadically breaking through. The second is considerably more dramatic, with a flapping rhythm emerging from a grounded hiss like a moth's wings beating against glass. The final track is almost undetectable, even with headphones, and strengthens the connections between Francis's work and the reductive strategies of Bernhard Gunter or John Hudak..." [Wire]. Ltd x 300 copies in a digifile with inner sleeve.

Steel Hook Prostheses STEEL HOOK PROSTHESES - 'Atrocitizer' CD (Malignant Records)

2nd CD proper from the Texas Power-Noise duo! While "Atrocitizer" will probably not be considered SHP's most aggressive release, it is unquestionably their most unsettling and creepy. 10 tracks and 50 minutes of death industrial in it's purest form, dripping and oozing with sinister intentions, and full of grim electronics, unnerving pulsations, and cold frequency spasms that swarm from a fetid pit of malevolence. Add in a steady stream of ultra menacing , processed vocals and nightmarish samples, and surely you have one of the more disturbing releases ever to be released on Malignant. Presented in a 6-panel digipak.

Violent Onsen Geisha VIOLENT ONSEN GEISHA - 'The Midnight Gambler' CD (Pure / RRRecords)

This is the cult 1996 full length of crazed psychedelic noise collage from Japan's Violent Onsen Geisha (aka Masaya Nakahara). The ‘music’ ranges from super surreal sound events to brutal feedback shriek, a never-ending stream of epileptic noise seizures and ultra spastic tape-splicing insanity that is sort of like Boredom's Yamatsuka Eye screaming over Negativland cassettes that have been left by the radiator for way too long. On the RRR Pure imprint with cut & paste artwork in a PVC sleeve.
