MARZURAAN - 'Five Years Worth Of Fuck All' CD (At War With False Noise)
Starting off from now and moving backwards through time to the early bedroom demo days, this CD shows Marzuraan's evolution from simplistic droning minimalism of the two bass lineup to the full-on rock beast of today. The album kicks off with a cover of Loop's "Afterglow", putting it through the post-Ginn blender and coming out with something great. The other cover here is a raging, lo-fi recording of Rollins Band's "Turned Inside Out". Bleak minimal droning walls of sound, controlled experiments into feedback and baws-out "post" rock. Presented in a six-panel chipboard sleeve, with stark black letterpress and clear varnish from Thumbprint Press.

R.Y.N. - 'Astral Death' CD (Unrest Productions)
RYN is the project of UK drone duo Pete Burn (Marzuraan) and Dean Glaister (Romance). With one previous 7" on Drone Records, this is their first full-length album. "6 long tracks of waving and slowly shifting massive drones, based on guitar, bass, metal and effects. The sounds here are just flooding immensely, there's nothing 'concrete' you can hold onto; the mind and body seem to be washed out slowly by these rustling feedbacking and deeply reverberating overtune-waves. "Astral Death" is a journey into the pulsating, meandering heart of disintegration" (Drone Records).
R.Y.N. - 'Whistle And I'll Come To You (Psychedelic Cover)' 7" (Drone Records)
R.Y.N. is British duo Dean Glaister (Romance, Feast Of Ishtar) and Pete Burn (Marzuraan). Their drone-style could be described as “power-drone”, using solely field recordings (electric shaver vibration on bits of metal and refrigerator hum) for the two pieces presented here. These energetic sound-sources build masses of heavy clouds in movement that flood your mind away, pure metallic flood-noises that bring a most welcomed void into your head. 1st edition of 300 copies on purple vinyl with insert and hand-printed, silk-screened covers.

SHIFT - 'Creation & Space' LP (At War With False Noise)
The second album from Swedish artist Shift builds on his much-applauded debut, "Unable To Abide The Silence Of The World". Inhabiting a dark world between noise, dark post industrial and power electronics, it's futile to try and pin down Shift - this record is just utter bleak, heavy-as-fuck, fist-in-your-face concentrated Power Electronics. Four varied tracks ranging from sub-bass grinding drone to moments of near-silent lull, to all-out viscreal static jihad, this is one of the most accomplished, expertly composed and executed albums of the genre. Features Lee Stokoe (Skullflower, Culver, Marzuraan) on bass. Ltd x 300.
VOMIT ORCHESTRA - 'Antecrux' CD (Autumn Wind Productions)
The debut full-length album from Vomit Orchestra took three years to record as the creator wished to make something with absolute flow, yet spontaneous and different enough to convey many different shades and colours to the listener. "Antecrux is chalk full of many different paths of ambient experimentation, from beautiful light guitar drone melodies to every day happy light swing music... Antecrux is similar to taking a ghostly walk through the past... Sometimes the music takes on the form of noise and / or seemingly field recordings, but quickly finds its way back to guitar melodies and simple, yet elegant, keyboard anomalies" (Heathen Harvest). Contains explicit sexual imagery. Ltd x 500 copies.
