KREPULEC / OUTOFSIGHT - 'Furious Friends' CD (Twilight Records)
(2007) This cult album was originally released in an edition of 222 copies by Beast Of Prey (2006). Apocalyptic folk, bombastic martial sounds and timeless hymns are the ingredients for this amazing split album. The two Polish artists created a rich release, dealing with tales of humanity, weakness and heroism during German occupation and oppression of the Polish nation in WWII. This reissue is limited to 500 copies with new artwork and 2 exclusive bonus tracks. Digipak.
MICHAEL GIRA - 'Songs For A Dog' LP (Lumberton Trading Company)
(2006) Over the years, Michael Gira (Angels Of Light, ex-SWANS etc) has honed his craft into something more sophisticated without actually having lost sight of the power, emotional tugs, or even the simplicity of his earlier works. On 'Songs for a Dog', he has collected ten tracks (mostly culled from releases only available via his website, plus three unreleased tracks), that catch him in his purest form. Mostly built around his guitar and voice in a home studio environment, the songs here expose perfectly how he can function without the layers of sound he's also often fond of exploring. These songs capture an artist who seems forever capable of pushing himself into new avenues. Ltd x 2000 copies in textured packaging, complete with insert and pressed on heavy vinyl.

OUTOFSIGHT - 'Vodka Likes Smoke (The Damned Poets)' CD (War Office Propaganda / Rage In Eden)
Poor alcohol and the smoky interior of a pub. The common despair shouted out in rare moments of sobriety. The terrible, absurd atmosphere of Poland in 50’s and 60’s of last century. Young people, poets, writers, painters and musicians thrown out of the "happy and ideal” society created by communistic authorities. People sinking their dreams in vodka. The works of those damned: Kazimierz Raton (1942-1983), Marek Hlasko (1934-1969) and Edward Stachura (1937-1979) was inspiration for this moving album. Musically it is perfectly blended mix of cold wave, Neofolk, pop and even echoes of decadent cabaret with different guest vocals. Digipak.
