(2008) The highly anticipated new album by the Swedish duo (Henry Möller of Puissance and Marten Björkman) is finally upon us. The sense of determination that echoes through their music and which has brought them to the forefront of Martial / Industrial Neo-Classical scene has stayed untouched. “Omne Ensis Impera” introduces an additional strength to Arditi’s compositions - epic orchestral loops and thunderous percussions are granted a more prominent role, stirring the damp and suffocating ambiance that the duo have always produced so well with their use of ominous synths, obscure speeches and mesmerizing narrations. “Omne Ensis Impera” could well be a modern interpretation of the Futurist’s goal of glorifying warfare to an artistic expression beyond its inherent violence and intrinsic sense of heroism. Mastered by Kamrat Nordvargr (Mz.412, Toroidh etc), who also contributed to additional arrangements on a couple of tracks. Presented in a deluxe glossy Digipak, with embossed artwork.

Now, after more than 10 years, these old recordings see the the light of day. This is all harsh gritty oldschool Folkstorm, served up fresh and carefully remastered from the original analogue tapes. Also included are the four tracks that were intended to be released as a spilt CD with LHD.
Special collectors edition, hand-numbered to just 282 copies! This edition comes with a bonus 3" mini CD (not CDR) containing the very first Folkstorm demos from 1998, recording under the name of "Volksturm". Presented in a nice digipak.

(2006) Semen is a collaboration between Jakob Nybo (Hentai) and Henrik Nordvargr Björkk (MZ.412, Toroidh, Folkstorm). Hentai and Nordvargr ejaculate their audio semen into the cold electric womb, and watch in fear as an unnatural sonic offspring mutates, squirms in agony and slowly comes to life. 'The Crown & The Plough' is a thoughtful album, overviewing the history of Oleg's motherland, the Ukraine. The album scores the clash between workmen and nobles; where the crown meets the plough! Grandiose Slavonic faithful hymns, orchestral sacred marches and utopian Neofolk nicely meld into a mysterious and refined album - in parts almost medieval / baroque. Highly recommended!
