BLEIBURG - 'Pieces Of A Broken Dream' 2 x CD (Cold Spring CSR68CD)
Over the years many bands from the Industrial / Neofolk spectrum have collaborated with Croatian artist Bleiburg. Here, for the first time, those alliances are collected together in a double CD set. Each band brings their own unique flavour to their collaborative piece and Bleiburg also executes seven unreleased solo tracks. Features such renowned international artists as: Amir Baghiri, Aube, Cawatana, Cellar Of Rats (ex-Kerovnian), Harvest Rain, Larrnakh, Lonsai Maikov, Nocturne, Obscure Resistance, Project Toth, The Soil Bleeds Black, Telepherique, Thorn Agram and Vidna Obmana.
"TimeBank" is a collection of exclusive unreleased compositions recorded by Cyclotimia from 2003-2007. A post-industrial "dish" containing cyber jazz and IDM, neoclassical and trademark technological ambient, old-school electronics and atmospheric new age, experimental and much more. Despite the seeming stylistic incompatibility the band has succeeded in creating an album with a spectacular plot similar to a good Hollywood thriller. A special jewel on the album is the track 'Nocturne' combining aerial melodies and uneasy sonic cinematography. Also worth mentioning is the "live" 10-minute prog-industrial suite "Economic Meditation", imbued with psychedelic drama. Ltd x 500 copies.
LES FRAGMENTS DE LA NUIT - 'Demain, C´Etait Hier' CD (Equilibrium Music)
"Demain, c'était Hier" perpetuates Les Fragments De La Nuit's timeless musical quest, blending the radiance of the stars with the dark forces that lurk in the Night. The French ensemble have kept faithful to their trademark style, in which pulsing piano chords set the pace for the string-work woven by cello and violin, haunted by female choirs. The album holds quiet, melancholy-driven moments, that flow into stirring, violent passages and ceremonial atmospheres. The band take contemporary / Neoclassical music beyond its typical standards, recalling the works of composers like Steve Reich, Philip Glass or Arvo Pärt with those of formations such as Godspeed You! Black Emperor, Balanescu Quartet or even the sinister cult-band Magma. A unique musical universe that takes form in an overpowering nocturnal masterpiece. 6-panel digipak.
The energy, genius and intransigence of the music of the historic "cult" power electronics project Mauthausen Orchestra (Pierpaolo Zoppo), united to the original, eclectic, rigorous experimental research carried on for 15 years by Giuseppe Verticchio, mostly with his Nimh solo project. Disturbing images of unhealthy places, nocturne landscapes covered with fog, psychotic nightmares, tormenting and delirious, described with sonorities of great impact and incredible dramatic force. A dark and long itinerary, to be wrapped in the spirals of a time that progressively seems to slow down and stop, folded in on itself... suspended in the void, without offering any way out. A sonic adventure for brave souls. Digipak.

NOCTURNE - 'Fleisch Und Metall' Enhanced CD (Steinklang)
"Fleisch und Metall" (meat and metal) is a conceptual album, a soundtrack for a performance by French Industrial / Noise act Nocturne. The performance took place in a old, ruined factory and the 7", 20-page booklet shows images from this event. An organic and ice-cold album, reminding of early Werkbund, and even Japanoise-esque metal orgies. A complex album with variations in style, whist utilising French vocal samples and industrial marching sounds. A 100% pure Industrial album. An additional 11 minute video brings you a challenging homage to industrial work and revolution, accompanied by an amazing Industrial soundtrack. Ltd x 500.

NOCTURNE - 'Vers Le Vide' CD (Final Muzik)
A patient, careful, dark ambient / apocalyptic work by Nocturne, requiring a deep, contemplative listing. This is at first a music of tension with an atmosphere of imminent disaster. And yet, from this magma of telluric electronic shocks and drones, emerges sharper, harsher sounds. An album embodying the unity of opposites, leading us to perceive a struggle between what's buried and what arises... between annihilation and the revelation of a hidden light. Ltd x 600 copies in a gatefold digifile.

NOCTURNE - 'Working Ecstasy' 2 x CD (Old Europa Cafe)
The fourth release by Nocturne on OEC. Two albums full of analogue sounds, droning noises, rumours as building collapsing while bombing, sensations like driving in a endless tunnel, far alarms, electricity, S/M & B/T/K feelings, cold and freezing voids mutating into hot layers of concrete, far sampled voices… and much more… A very homogeneous work in perfect Nocturne style. Comes in a textured foldout poster sleeve.
VIDEL - 'D'Monique Velsmord' CD (Section XIII COMA)
A 65-minute long meditative-ritual-drone-ambient mantra performed during three nocturnes 29 May - 1 June 2009. "...one is caressed by atmospheric waves of isolation, synchronized with death rattling drones against the static silence... Drones of anguish with bleak undertones of death pierce through the remnants of mania: an empty void liberating forgotten grief to entomb the listener in an aching trance, to reminisce in sorrow... D’Monique Velsmord embodies the essence of grief, a melancholic funeral dirge embracing the bleeding hues of emotion in isolation; the serenity in solitude…" (Ellamorte). Originally issued in an edition of just 5 copies in 2009. Remixed in May 2010. Ltd x 1087 copies in a slimline DVD case.
