Gulaggh GULAGGH - 'Vorkuta' CD (New Era Productions)

From the ashes of Stalaggh begins the Gulaggh trilogy. A soulripping piece of audio terror. The most disturbing piece so far by these musical avant-garders. For vocals they used more mental patients than ever before, including over 30 screaming children from a Youth Mental Hospital! Ltd x 300 copies with handmade silkscreen print covers.

Hrossharsgrani HROSSHARSGRANI - 'Sanguis' CD (Beverina & WAR Productions)

In the cold winter of 1998 a.d. the Austrian battle machine Hrossharsgrani formed for their first release in shape of the demo 'Blut'. In the beginning Hrossharsgrani (feat Hugin of Uruk-Hai) wandered the worlds of dark ambient music to tell stories of creatures that walked by night, the undead, the vampyres. He paid tribute to the bloody heritage of Lord Byron and Bram Stoker. On the 10 year anniversary of "Blut", this gem, which was lost for a decade, is now digitally remastered and released once again. Prepare for the birth of a new Hrossharsgrani era! Ltd x 500 copies in a digipak.

Ovro OVRO - 'Mosaick the Serpent / Vipera Aurea' CD (Some Place Else)

This album consists of two distinct parts, each independent yet linked to each other. Originally intended as two companion EPs, they support and compliment each other and form a new whole, a third being that contains both its makers and in itself is something more. These two EPs, Mosaick and Vipera are twins - independent yet entwined like the snakes of a caduceus. Vipera Aurea is "coagula" to Mosaick the Serpent's "solve". Calm yet intense, vocal-flavoured Dark Ambient mindscapes in the distinct Ovrian style. Features contributions from Massimo (Black Sun Productions), NIko Skorpio and Mockingwyrd. Standard PVC slip.

Peter Andersson / Raison D'Étre PETER ANDERSSON - 'Music For Film And Exhibition II' CD (Old Europa Cafe)

'Music for Film and Exhibition II' is the sequel of 'Music for Film and Exhibition' (Yantra Atmospheres, 2007). While the previous output contains collected works from different exhibition projects and movies spanning from 1999-2005, this sequel is focused on one single project; an exhibition. Peter Andersson (Raison D'Etre, Atomine Elektrinc, Necrophorus) recently worked as a media producer at the Swedish Air Force Museum and has been involved with their new large permanent exhibiton about the Cold War. Within this project Peter has worked with sound design and movie production in particular. The sonic results are presented here. Some of the tracks are used as soundtrack for exhibition movies while the main part are sonic atmospheres and soundscapes to create the ambience of the exhibition rooms. The music is presented here as stand alone productions, displaced from its original context. To fully experience the music in its environmental Raison d'être, travel to the Swedish Air Force Museum... until then, you may enjoy the music on its own. Six panel digipak covered with beautiful Sunset painting by Italian artist Christian Montagna /FLOODSart.

The Being's debut album deals with the concept of inner-transformation and personal growth on a spiritual level by combining the arts of philosophy and poetry, music and magic into one coherent whole.   Thee Maldoror Kollective THEE MALDOROR KOLLECTIVE - 'Themes For Proxima' MCD (Foreshadow Productions)

With each new release, Italian group Thee Maldoror Kollective crosses the boundaries of avantgarde music. Starting with black metal outbursts, they have come trough marriages with industrial, jazz and even opera. On "Themes for Proxima" TMK dive into cold dimensions of brave electronica. Music from this release was used in a Spanish movie production "Proxima", which only enhances its artistic value. Unpredictable and conventional, melodic and deconstructive, calm and frantic. Only a band with such an experience could compose music that is so mature. A bunch of critics have already compared them to ULVER, both in terms of development and breaking all the rules. Just under half an hour of music.

Velehentor VELEHENTOR - 'Boeing: There And Back Again' CD (Gravestench Productions)

"Boeing" contains two mini-albums. The first of these is "The Rest of Hiroshima": cold, apocalyptic darkwave and drones in the name of mushroom clouds over Japan in 1945. The second part "Wargasm 911. The Best of USA" is a very cynical Power / Rhythmic Electronics ritual with Russian lyrics, dedicated to the events of 9:11 in New York. The last track entitled "168:1" is recorded in memory of Timothy McVeigh who exploded the federal building in Oklahoma-city in 1995. Festival of soul for misanthropic comrades. The CD is packed in DVD case with a booklet and a set of postcards all with very nice photography.
