FALSE MIRROR - 'North' CD (Thonar Records)
(2007) North is the second full-length album from False Mirror. Whereas 'Chronostatic Scenes' dealt with a dreamscape atmosphere, 'North' is much colder and darker. The mood of the album is like an arctic expedition from somewhere into nowhere. Many of the sounds come from acoustic instruments like guitars, accordion, gongs and mouth organ, which were then processed, as well as everyday objects. There are also environmental recordings he made from the North Atlantic Ocean and during the European windstorm 'Kyrill'. Limited to 493 copies.
