Militia MILITIA - 'Power, Propaganda, Productions!' CD Boxset (Neuropa)

The six famous muscle workers from Belgium have not only unleashed a new production following their 2005 album “Everything Is One”, but have also set a new milestone in their long-running industrial career. The album contains 11 new studio tracks dealing with the very topics Militia has always been pointing at during their provocative career. Most of the percussion instruments are made out of oil barrels and old metal parts from cars and machines. They combine these self made instruments with conventional drums, toms and cymbals. The band members also play a variety of self-made wind instruments and tools. Comes in a deluxe cardboard box with an 8-page booklet and a magnificent Militiapolitburo mini-poster, all designed by Metastazis from France.

Sigma Octantis SIGMA OCTANTIS - 'Dislocations' CD (Divine Comedy)

The music of Sigma Octantis is hard to describe, but certainly very obsessive. A cross between ritual and harsh ambient music, deeply rooted in the 80’s experimental films and music. Influences remain the same as on their 2007 debut "Invocations" (Morthond, MB, Militia, Mandible Chatter, Haus Arafna, Megaptera or the quietest side of Brighter Death Now), but this opus presents a more melodic side than its predecessor. It captures the same feeling but in a more bombastic, cruel and complex way. And dare we say... a bit unnerving? Ltd x 300 copies in a gatefold digisleeve.

Sigma Ocantis SIGMA OCTANTIS - 'Invocations' CD (Divine Comedy)

Both ethnic and ambient, sometimes low and harsh or even psychedelic, Sigma Octantis's music is always melancholic and quite strange. Amongst other things Sigma Octantis takes ideas from: Surrealism, dark and melancholic writers such as Bataille, Artaud, Shakespeare, Proust, Bernhard; dark humour ala Ambrose Bierce. Musicaly speaking... amongst others Blue Oyster Cult, MB, Militia, Mandible Chatter, Thiefaine, Haus Arafna, Paul Roland, Megaptera or Brighter Death Now. Ltd x 500 copies in a digifile.
