(2005) "OperettAmorale" is Massimo and Pierce's personal tribute to the poetry of German poet and playwright Bertolt Brecht (1898-1956). 11 classic Brecht's songs, here revisited according to Black Sun Production’s irreverent attitude. "OperettAmorale" includes contributions recorded exclusively for this album from Coil (with the song "A List of Wishes" - one of the final studio performances by Jhonn Balance), "The Ballad of Sexual Dependency" delivered by the incomparable voice of Lydia Lunch and guest vocals by none other than HR Giger on "Seeräuber-Jenny". Other musicians participating include Julia Kent (Anthony and the Johnsons) and Marco Schiavo (Larsen). Cover artwork on this digipak is provided by HR Giger. Essential!
TEHO TEARDO - 'Tower / Microphone' CD (Final Muzik)
Known for his past collaborations with Nurse With Wound, Coleman (of Cop Shoot Cop), Lydia Lunch and many more, this Italian artist appeared 20 years ago on the industrial scene and continues with his sound research: electronica, avantgarde rock and soundtrack material. For this album, 24 contact microphones were placed on the roof, on the walls, between the bricks and under the ground of the ancient tower of the “ospedale dei battuli” in San Vito, Tagliamento. The mics were plugged into a PA system which made the tower itself one big mic! Further manipulations were then made. A great dark ambient, isolationist music album. Ltd x 1000 digipak.
