  L'effet C'est Moi L'EFFET C'EST MOI - 'Genius Loci' CD (SkullLine)

In classical Roman religion a genius loci was the protective spirit of a place. The concept was regarded as something supernatural linked to a place or object of worship. Over time the meaning has changed, for genius loci refers to the cultural significance and then the emotional, which is attributed to a site, for an area or city, usually refers to a location's distinctive atmosphere, or a "spirit of place", rather than necessarily a guardian spirit. It is therefore an expression of "character" of a place, its characteristics interwoven with the habits and customs of the people who live there. In this case assumes the role of genius loci which takes time to establish contact with our ancestors. The CD presents an introspective journey through martial ambient and ritualistic epic sounds, to reflect and find a contact between man and the protection of the place. Ltd x hand-numbered 500 copies in a white jewelcase.
