AERE AETERNUS - 'Humanity Needs No Funeral' Enhanced CD (Kaosthetik Konspiration)
The first full-length album from French act Aere Aeternus. Some of you will recognise the name from their tracks on 'The Obsolete View' compilation. The dominant atmosphere combines a sense of impending insanity with sexual deviancy and a large dollop of occultism, creating a dark and troubling misanthropic sojourn that is relatively unique. The final track is probably the most musical, as it is centred on a guitar arpeggio, but no such concessions to convention are present elsewhere on this deeply troubling disk. The accompanying video of "Invocation" shows a Satanic ritual and is rated 18+. Presented in a 6-panel digifile.

This side-project of Hylgaryss (Dark Sanctuary) aims, though a selected and mechanical development, an ambient diagram and religious marked. Caithness installs a monastic climate, dreamlike coupled to some introspective blackness and exposing a decorum of reclusion. Amalgams of bells, songs of monks and ambient tableaux. A post-apocalyptic detailed sound cinema. This dark-ambient is the sound of an alternative remaining to find between vacuum and belief. Ethereal compositions conductive to quiet contemplation and so emotional, in a similar way to the best of Raison d Être. Ltd x 1000 copies in a 6-panel digisleeve with booklet.

Claustrophobic Ritual Ambient from this French project. "Soundtrack of mind's fluctuations, Treha Sektori exposes a psychic course with ethereal and nightmarish appearances. The role allotted to the voices gives actually, a theatrical and horrific inflection with unit but fixed in the abstract. Only tangible line : a work of layers carrying a true mystery, a cinematic oppression. Beginning at the end of the test, "Sorieh" gives the impression of living then a fall, slow, course of limbs, rustles and fogs which more make us fear that, with the end, one will discover, rather than the shock with some object floating not identified, mineral or organic.
