(2008) The first full-length album from French act Aere Aeternus. Some of you will recognise the name from their tracks on 'The Obsolete View' compilation. The dominant atmosphere combines a sense of impending insanity with sexual deviancy and a large dollop of occultism, creating a dark and troubling misanthropic sojourn that is relatively unique. The final track is probably the most musical, as it is centred on a guitar arpeggio, but no such concessions to convention are present elsewhere on this deeply troubling disk. The accompanying video of "Invocation" shows a Satanic ritual and is rated 18+. Presented in a 6-panel digifile.

A fine release from one of the acts enjoyed by every Cold Meat Industry fan. “The Ever Green Tree” is based on the concept of eternal youth, eternal value, fame and immortality. The music is lush and mysterious as ever, while full of fresh ideas, including a touch of acoustic guitars. This was one of the best Dark Ambient releases of 2005! (2007) Halo Manash, redrobed and clothed in ash, has a completed a helical cycle, r.A.S.H.n.k.a-RA. Archaic sounds and visions from the heights and depths, elemental ambience and primal thundering. Various instruments such as horns, kanglings, bells, cymbals, drums, singing bowls, damaras, rattles, chimes, bones, self-made instruments, vocals, voices, and the elemental sounds themselves give form to a work that is sometimes serene, sometimes fierce and chaotic. "In 4 Elements" (DVD) was realised in 4 circulations of the sun and consists of 4 parts. "In Polardual" (LP) is the dark twin, and was realised in 2 circulations of the sun, consisting of two parts. Ltd x 500 copies in gatefold sleeve with A2 poster.
