ISOMER - 'Face Toward The Sun' CD (Tesco Organisation)
Isomer's latest offering takes a sharp turn towards more aggressive territories, with the raw industrial hinted at in previous outings getting a proper airing. The dark ambient textures for which he is known still feature, but "Face Toward The Sun" forges new stylistic ground for the project. From the throbbing electronics of the opening track, through power electronics, walls of noise, violent vocal deliveries and carefully structured dark ambience, this is a characteristically varied album. The tracks here will appeal to listeners of martial industrial as well as to an industrial dark ambient audience. A lusty, varied album of industrial music. Presented in a 6-panel digipak with potent imagery.

ISOMER - 'Nil By Mouth' MCD (Cipher Productions)
With every release from Adelaide's David Tonkin he seems that little bit more aggressive, that touch more buried in sound, and that step more progressed in his abilities. So it is again with "Nil By Mouth", released for Isomer's live action in Mannheim, Germany with Genocide Organ, May 2011. Not only does "Nil By Mouth" offer Tonkin's most confrontational take on layered, modern power electronics yet, he also adds another dimension of creep, distinct from the previous CDs, courtesy of some contributions from Mark Groves (Dead Boomers, Von Einem). 30mins of music. Ltd x 200 copies pro-pressed CD in a shrinkwrapped card sleeve.
"Zero Lounge" is the follow-up to "Serpent Age," the highly-acclaimed first CD by Australian artist David Tonkin, the man behind Isomer. Isomer does not remain in the field of dark rhythmic ambience; with the second release it explores new fields. This CD brings a blend mixture of classical industrial elements, power electronic noises and ritual soundscapes. It still has its very own touch and varies in style, but never loses the thin red lead of an extraordinary brilliance in recording. Outsized gatefold sleeve with insert.
NAVICON TORTURE TECHNOLOGIES - 'The Gospels Of The Gash' 2 x CD (Malignant Records)
The final and definitive 2CD release from NTT chronicles one man's journey into a world devoid of light or hope. This is a place where the air is alive with the stink of pain and the beating of great black wings. The two discs compile material from a slew of limited releases from 2005-2007, as well as newer tracks recorded specifically for this release. As a result, "The Gospels of the Gash" is unquestionably the most complete NTT recording to date and nothing short of a monumental achievement... a culmination of the best aspects of past releases combined into an epic odyssey of apocalyptic atmospheres, brutish frequencies, harrowing darkness, and razor sharp vocals. Includes collaborations with Cenotype, Fragment King, and M Slagle, Autoclav 1.1 and Covet. Isomer and Steel Hook Prostheses also made valuable contributions. Mastered by STROM.ec, and packaged in a DVD digipak with layout and artwork by Leech and Jorden Haley, this release is a fitting funerary rite for NTT.
