In Meditarum is the Ukrainian apocalyptic ritual and dark ambient project of Olegh Kolyada (First Human Ferro, Oda Relicta). The previous albums 'Les Fleurs du Mal' and 'Uterus' outlined the old school approach of the project, clearly influenced by highlights of Morthound, Ildfrost, ConSono or Archon Satani. "The Great Limbo" is based on re-engineered early works (1998-2008) selectively crafted anew in summer 2009 at Olegh's home studio. Ltd x 500 copies in a spot-varnished digipak with poster. ODA RELICTA - 'Leper Mass' CD (Twilight Records)
Ukrainian project Oda Relicta (aka Olegh Kolyada of First Human Ferro and In Meditarium) was created in 2005 with the intention to represent the legacy of the local military orchestra - Zhytomyr Military Brass Orchestra, where Olegh Kolyada's uncle was involved into while serving in the army. Hence the military component of the project is the marches, and improvisations upon classical works performed throughout 1990s - 2005 by said orchestra. This is a masterpiece; very intense, atmospheric and deep. A work and sound unique and very personal. Oda Relicta's third album will show you the true beauty of the liturgical chants in their more primitive expression. Digipak.
ODA RELICTA - 'Saint Sebastian / Sphinx The Perched' CD (Midnight Productions)
Dark and ritual, neoclassical work from the Ukrainian project of Olegh Kolyada (First Human Ferro / In Meditarium). The musical parts are based on the ancient religious hymns of the 6th-12th century. The theatrical summoning was made in unknown Europan woods and in front of the pyramid next to the funerary causeway in Africa. The vocal parts are based on ancient mysteries recorded in the tunnels that lead nowhere in the 21th century. The sound of the silver trumpet of Tutankhamun was made in 1939 in the Egyptian museum in Cairo. All other sampled parts were extracted from private archival video & audio footage. Digipak.
