First vinyl for Asianova - Ure Thrall of Voice Of Eye and Pamela Passmore, with several guests - and the second in the "Substantia Innominata" series from Drone Records (the first being Daniel Menche's "Radiant Blood"). Over 30 minutes of music inspired by "the unknown, the unnameable, the unspeakable, the unthinkable". Musically this release sits between experimental drone and ethno-ambient. Haunting sound effects and eerie female vocals are carefully layered over a combination of drones, soundscapes and ambience. File next to Hybryds. First edition of 500 copies with full colour cover and pressed on pink / white marbled vinyl.

HYBRYDS - 'Soundtrack For The Antwerp Zoo Aquarium' CD (Zoharum)
Reissue of a long-deleted classic album by this legendary Belgian project. 'Soundtrack For The Antwerp Zoo Aquarium' is an unusual album, even in comparison with other Hybryds works. It was created especially for the 150th anniversary of the Antwerp Zoo. The music composed by Sandy and Hermann (Ah-Cama Sotz) was woven in between the sounds of dolphins, killer whales and the noise of the underwater world. "Soundtrack For The Antwerp Zoo Aquarium" is a musical journey of the similar stature as "20,000 Leagues Under The Sea" by Julius Verne. Let it be the best recommendation for those who haven't had a chance to get to know to one of the best and most interesting albums in the Hybryds discography. Digipak.

OTHILA - 'Continents' CD (Divine Comedy)
Second full length opus by this French act. Othila celebrate Mother Earth from continent to continent. Sharing, opening, discovering, and respecting are the words to describe this new album. The music, after the much more martial "Yula" 10" is darker and lurking. Eight long pieces for five continents and Atlantis. Comparisons have been made to Hybryds, with some incursions in the more modern and still filmographic darkness of Godspeed You Black Emperor! or Biosphere. This gem is packed in a triple fold out digifile and is limited to 500 copies.

VA - 'From Earth To Sirius' 2 x CD (Zoharum)
A form of message sent from the Earth to the brightest star, composed of 20 exclusive tracks prepared especially for this compilation. Sirius is the canine planet, the brightest star of the northern sky. Known since the ancient times, it has left an imprint on forming outlooks, beliefs, religious centres in many cultures. Even the ancient Egyptians worshipped Sirius as a deity, built their calendar on Sirius' cycle closely connected to the Nile tides before the summer solstice. In the 20th century the interest in the magical aspect of Sirius did not die out. Thanks to the Discordian groups with R.A. Wilson (the great philosopher to whom the compilation is dedicated) and T. Leary at the head, it is still being revived. The music on the album oscillates between psychedelic drone, dark ambient, tribal and down-tempo. Some of the projects approach the theme in the vein of ritualistic music; others realise their ideas through the sounds of universe and deep dark infinite space. Features: Ah Cama-Sotz, Apocalyptic Visions, Atomine Elektrine, Christblood, Different State, Electric Uranus, Emme Ya, Expo '70, Hybryds, Kallee, Kia Karma, Nordvargr, Ouroboros, Phelios, Rapoon, S.E.T.I., Therion Trismegistos, Unknown Caller, X-NAVI:ET and Zenial. Presented in a beautiful 6-panel digipak with silver print. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

CD reissue of Voxus Imp's 1998 LP. In classical Icelandic literature, 'Idafeld' is the symbol of the everlasting. At this place of renewal, the guiltless gods unite to strive towards Ragnarok (the twilight of the gods) once more. This 'ritual music' by Voxus Imp is largely purely electronic, but with a pleasant organic feel to it and sometimes nearly danceable rhythms. If the listener is searching for comparisons, look to Werkbund, Coil or Hybryds. The music from the vinyl edition has been edited and re-mastered with a bonus track. 6-panel digipak.
