OF THE WAND AND THE MOON - 'The Lone Descent' CD (Heidrunar Myrkrunar)
The long awaited and anticipated 5th album from Denmark's Of The Wand & The Moon. Kim Larsen takes a different road to the previous albums. 60's influenced, where the love for Lee Hazlewood and Serge Gainsbourg shines through. Still keeping the dark Neofolk roots, "The Lone Descent" is without doubt the most bleak and melancholic album from Of The Wand & The Moon, and clearly shows Larsen's brilliant talent as a singer/songwriter. Features guests: Lorenzo Woodrose (Baby Woodrose), Aron, Soma Allpass (Mew, Martin Hall), Bo Rande (The William Blakes, Mew, Blue Foundation), John Murphy (Death In June, Knifeladder, Nico, SPK), John van der Lieth (Sonne Hagal) and Anne Eltard (Solanaceae, OTWATM). CD comes in glossy spotvarnished slipcase and 24 pages booklet. Features the artwork of Alex Rose.

SOLANACEAE - 'Solanaceae' CD (Heidrunar Myrkrunar)
Solanaceae is the creation of Danish artist Kim Larsen, which portrays a more psychedelic folk feeling than usually put forth in his Neofolk project Of The Wand & The Moon. However the unmistakable voice and songwriting is still Larsen's, which probably leaves this album as close to an OTWATM album without being that. 13 songs with themes of magick, woods and mysteries, mainly written and performed by Larsen with kind help and appearances by Chelsea Robb (Arrowwood), Pythagumus Marshall (Novemthree), Michael Laird (Unto Ashes), John van der Lieth (Sonne Hagal), Fenella Overgaard (Of The Wand & The Moon), Vincent Farrow (Solblot) and Anne Eltard (who appeared on the first OTWATM album).
