GYVATA / PRAGNAVIT - 'Broliai Karelin Jojo / Ad Gloriam' CD (Crivia Records)
From ambient-folk with a ritual touch, to bombastic-folk from Belarus and Lithuania. This album is dedicated to the 600th Anniversary of the Battle of Grunwald (Tannenberg), fought on 15 July 1410, during the Polish-Lithuanian-Teutonic War. The alliance of the Kingdom of Poland and the Grand Duchy of Lithuania decisively defeated the Teutonic Knights, with most of their leadership killed or taken prisoner. This battle was one of the largest battles in Medieval Europe and is regarded as the most important victory in the history of Poland and Lithuania. It was surrounded by romantic legends and nationalistic propaganda, becoming a larger symbol of struggle against invaders and a source of national pride. Mastered by Axel Frank (Werkraum). Ltd x 350 copies in a digipak.
