FUNERARY CALL - 'Dark Waters Stirred' CD (Fall Of Nature Records)
Heralded as one of the progenitors of black ambient music, Funerary Call (aka Harlow MacFarlane of Sistrenatus) returns from dormancy with his darkest release to date. "Dark Waters Stirred" is a ceremonial maelstrom of ominous electronics, doom-laden guitars and dark ambient textures. An audial descent into ritualistic obscurity and misanthropy. Features guest appearances from the likes of Deathlord (Blasphemy, ex-Conqueror), and Troy Southgate (H.E.R.R., Seelenlicht) amongst others. Australian import.

INORGANIC BLOSSOMING - 'Seasons Project: Autumndrones' CD (Infinite Fog Productions / Vegvisir Music / 7Hz Records)
'Autumndrones' is a name which belongs to two musicians from Siberia - Becoming and Freeall. 'Autumndrones' - can be explained as a love of autumn. They did not want to dedicate the music to this season, they wanted to write it. Therefore they music was written during the fall only, and when the first autumn passed they left the unfinished material until the next one. That is why the work took them 3 years. The whole mood of the album went through this season, even live instruments, such as violin and accordion, were recorded in fields along with the leaves' noise. The sound of nature and the human together. Mild ambient, careful noise and accidental melodies, the mix of leaves rustling, wind blowing and analogue synths singing. Ltd x 292 copies in a handmade A5 digipak.

NEST - 'Trail Of The Unwary' CD (Corvus Records)
Eerie, acoustic, calm Nordic ambient/folk music played on the kantele, giving the music a medieval touch. Beautiful sounds dedicated to nature and inspired by her beauty… and of legends untold. "A hidden pool amidst the woods where the otters come to play, an owl's faint call echoing through the woods, sparkling waterfalls and vast snow-covered landscapes where the reindeer folk and wolves hold their domain. These are only some of the things with the atmosphere Nest strives to capture.” Though Finnish, the music of Nest has a Celtic feel and even reminds of Clannad in places!

SUBKLINIK - 'Musik For Dekomposition' CD (Fall Of Nature Records)
Subklinik is Chad Davis (Torturecide, Mortuor). Since 1996, Subklinik has continued to create some of the darkest Death Industrial / necro-soundscapes in existence. Enter "Musik For Dekomposition", the latest full length from Subklinik, featuring six torturous expressions that convey a foreboding atmosphere abundant with feelings of death, and isolation, manifested through a sonic vortex of analogue filth and decay. "Lo-fi, unsettling, and ultra grim, this immediately takes me back to the early-mid' 90s and the heyday of the Slaughter Productions cassette scene" (Malignant).
