The disc contains unique ethnographic field recordings made by Andrei Komarov (Vishudha Kali), during an expedition to the Pamirs in 2004. One of the goals of this expedition was to study the musical traditions of the Pamir highlands. Here he discovered the most outstanding poet and musician, Kurbonsho. The village in which he lived is a wild place on Vakhania (Afghan gap) with no electricity and extremely difficult access. Although local residents claimed that he was unlikely to agree to sing, Kali still managed to record his primordial folklore music, which is represented on this disc. Kurbonsho died In 2008. "Age of 369" was originally released on cassette in 1984. The lesser known "Chant 2" is also from this period and complements the sonic intensity of the other. Of further importance is the influence of Maurizio Bianchi (MB) and the mail art that was integral to the industrial underground. These reissues document significant works from Japan's Noise master. Made with a cheap tape recorder and a lot of tape loops, which were then manipulated by hand. "Lowest Music 2" was a very early example of that. Then Merzbow mixed more tape loops with more harsh noise. "Age of 369" (Mlroku No Yo) and "Chant 2" are the finest early examples of that. The Japanese title of "Age of 369" was inspired by the Omoto Cult, founded by Onisabura Degughi. Most of Angela's lyrics are derived from 19th Century Russian folklore, lending the native vocals an even more unique slant. Volga appeared on Susan Lawly's 'Extreme Music From Russia' compilation.

Surprisingly, the first CD-proper release by this obscure Russian industrial-noise unit, with several extremely limited releases in their back catalogue from as far back as 2002. This CD marks one of their biggest highlights, with crude physically crafted industrial-noise. Even if it crosses borders towards purity of harsh noise once in a while, the spirit of Soviet factory landscapes is always present. Two long tracks that develop during their playing time to different atmospheres.
