BAD SECTOR - 'The Harrow' CD (Ewers Tonkunst / Indiestate Distribution)
Reissue of the 2001 release (Ltd x 584 copies, AVA/ES1-Reset) from this Italian legend. Maybe the most dark and obscure work of Bad Sector, this is an absolutely brilliant masterpiece of anxious claustrophobic dark ambient with a touch of radio noise, digital Geiger counter sounds and some sparks of subtle melodic threads, inspired by Kafka's work. CISFINITUM - 'Coniunctio' 2 x CD (Ewers Tonkunst)
Cisfinitum is one of the oldest and well-known projects in the Russian industrial scene. This 2CD set contains the tracks from the most gloomy and profound albums of Cisfinitum - "Landschaft" and "Malgyl" (previously unreleased), which were recorded during 1999-2001. The material has been remastered and recompiled to become the new entity called "Coniunctio." Going through the desperate landscapes of today's dying spiritless world, the listener comes into the sacred and surreal inner space of an immaterial land full of light, mysticism and universal melancholy. One of the most beautiful and heartfelt records in the drone ambient style, reminding of the best and saddest Maeror Tri. Second edition in gatefold digisleeve with new artwork.
This 6-track release continues in the same vein as "Wasteland", but is less rhythmic and more deep and meditative, being maybe the most dark and melancholic Cyclotimia release to date. Analogue electronic layers submerge listener to an atmosphere of uneasy hallucinatory reverie. Subtle clear sound and sad melodies unite to create the unique mix of cold psychedelia and soulful grief. Reminds of Controlled Bleeding, Raison D'etre and Reutoff in places. Ltd x 300 copies in a silver on black print deluxe card sleeve.

NORTHAUNT - 'The Ominous Silence' CD (Cyclic Law / Ewers Tonkunst / Indiestate Distribution)
Re-issue of a long sold out Dark Ambient milestone - the debut Northaunt album which first saw the light of day back in 2001 (Fluttering Dragon). "The Ominous Silence" is more musical album than its followers, with a lot of piano, guitar and synth melodic parts, like in the classical tracks 'De Sorte Trær' and 'Pain Is Better', but the typical Northaunt melancholy and dark gloomy Nordic ambient soundscapes are still there. This edition has completely new artwork, new mastering by Hæleif Langås and the bonus track 'Funeral Inside' (audio version). Ltd x 470 copies in a stunning embossed / spot-varnished mini-LP outsize sleeve with 3 inserts.
RAPOON - 'Dream Circle' CD (Ewers Tonkunst / Indiestate Distribution)
Re-issue of one of the most influential ambient albums of the early 90s, Rapoon's very first album, "Dream Circle" (Death of Vinyl). With its postmodern tribalism, its incessant chanting and dampened percussion and air of dense, subcontinental humidity, "Dream Circle" not only helped establish Robin Storey´s post-Zoviet France solo reputation, but inspired an entire generation of electronic artists fascinated by ritualistic and hypnotic repetition. It is both a transitional and a ground-breaking work, but has not aged a whit in the nearly twenty years since it first saw the light of day. Presented in a stunning embossed / spot-varnished mini-LP outsize sleeve with gold print.

RAPOON - 'The Bush Prophet' CD (Ewers Tonkunst)
This Rapoon work has an accent on more dark, hard and anxious sound constructions than most of its recent albums, it is full of tension and scepticism, but with no lack of inner hope though. Like "Melancholic Songs Of The Desert", it deals with isolationism and the myth of democracy. These songs are a retreat into the one place that no government has yet found a way into, the free and open spaces of the mind. They are spontaneous and meditative reflections looking for an inner peace in a world made ugly by hatred and war. The music here looks for a sense of inner being that one can only find in quiet isolation. Ltd x 500 copies in a digisleeve.

RAPOON - 'The Library Of The Dead' CD (Ewers Tonkunst)
The second CD from Robin Storey on Ewers Tonkunst. This time Russian folk singer Tatyana “Toloka” Stepchenko recorded some songs for Rapoon a capella and allowed him to pull apart, re-arrange, cut-up and re-sample her voice into the sounds and arrangements on this album. The result is a very delicate and enlightened work, it is a kind of a sonic travel through clean and vast spaces of Russian North to find some ancient and ancestral recollections, made using typical Rapoon sound tools, the great and unique voice of Toloka and some very fresh and clear ambient tunes. Ltd x 500 copies a stylish digisleeve with artwork by Robin Storey. Russian import.

REUTOFF - 'Deprivatio' CD (Ewers Tonkunst)
Five years after their 2003 “Gute Nacht Berlin” comes the long-awaited full-length album from this well-known Russian industrial project. “Deprivatio” is a sad story of a person surrendering to the enemy environment. It’s about idle struggle with time and fatigue, about constant withering of passions and imminent vitality deprivation. Being maybe the most hopeless and sad work for Reutoff, this album is paradoxically their most rhythmic and dynamic. There are more noisy drum loops and electro sounds here than martial drum patterns and old school noise, but their unique deep and profound melodic main themes are still remain as the basement for the brilliant new tracks of despair and downfall.
