European Space Agency (ESA) astronaut Christer Fuglesang is part of mission STS-116, known to be the most complex construction flight yet attempted. Fuglesang is the first Swedish astronaut and will, according to recent calculations, be the 1000th person to leave earth. In celebration, this 7" artifact carries compositions by two of the most interesting artists around at the moment, international drone pop superstar Dead Letters Spell Out Dead Words and minimalist master Ronnie Sundin. Inspired by the legendary compilation LP 'Gothenburg 84' (Radium 226.05, 1984) - a document of that creative period in the musical history of Gothenburg, Sweden, featuring the upcoming talent of the time. Now, in 2008, Gothenburg's electronic and experimental scene is again soaring with talent. It's a scene of pioneers creating exploratory, unique music - completely new, but still connected to the spirit from almost 25 years ago. It is another unique era, and it is time to document it.
