ALIO DIE & MARILOINA ZITTA - 'La Sala Dei Cristalli' CD (Hic Sunt Leones)
Selected sound materials from sonorous stones, stalactites, bat calls, flutes, field recordings collected by Mariolina Zitta in different caves in Liguria a Sardinia, Italy, processed and edited by Alio Die. Drones are played by the authors on a set of long stones that resonate, caressed by a bathed hand, and by the same principle of crystal glasses. A very immersive and obscure journey, an underground meditation with a ritual touch, in accordance with the "natural sound", despite the sampling and multi-effect techniques used here. A deep listening experience. 6-panel digipak.

CHANGES - 'Lament' CD (Hau Ruck!)
From Changes' inception, R. N. Taylor and Nicholas Tesluk have woven bardic tales of gallantry, chivalry and of larger-than-life legendary and mythical heroes. They've sung of new love, love unrequited and love lost. They've written songs foretelling a dark apocalyptic future, which later came to pass while currently prophesying a society in the seminal stages of an even darker fate. With their new album, "Lament", they turn their gaze inward, to their own personal apocalypses, stemming from their long marriages ending in dismal dissolution. Only by being able to immerse themselves in their art and create works expressing these sorrows would they be able to maintain their sanity. "Lament" reaches out to all who've had their lives disrupted by modern societal partners going through mid-life crises, becoming antagonistic strangers to their families overnight. Also included are new versions of three of Changes' earlier works; "The Saddest Thing", "Sweet Eve" and "Memorabilia". 13 tracks of Folk Noir. Guests: Der Blutharsch, David E Williams and Axel Frank (Werkraum). Digipak with a 16-page booklet.

CRISIS - 'Holocaust Hymns' CD (Apop Records)
Crisis came into existence in the late '70s amidst the British hardcore punk movement. They took the same energy that came from the youthful, raw anger of the Oi! movement, but with restrained lyrical phrasing and strict rhythms. Members include Douglas P. and Tony Wakeford who would later expand upon some of the Crisis material for their Neofolk group DEATH IN JUNE. Wakeford later went on to form SOL INVICTUS, whilst Luke Rendall and Lester Jones would later find involvement in Theatre Of Hate and Sex Gang Children, respectively. This is Crisis' entire remastered discography from 1978-1980, complete with a 12 page booklet featuring exclusive photos from Douglas P.'s private archives.

CRISIS - 'Hymns Of Faith' 12" (La Vida Es Un Mus)
Re-release for the first time on vinyl, since it's original release in may 1980 - the one and only 7 track album from seminal radical and political punk / post punk band Crisis. 'Hymns Of Faith' was Crisis at their more reserved. The guitar was more innovative than on the punk anthems on their earlier singles, but the lyrics were just as politically bitter. Lyrically the album deals with subjects such as TV, violence, totalitarian Russia and European terrorist organisations. This was their last effort, as it had all begun to fall apart by this time for Crisis, with the band members going in different directions. Douglas P. went on to form Death In June with Tony Wakeford (Sol Invictus), and Luke Rendall went on to form Theatre Of Hate. 30 years since its release 'Hymns Of Faith' still sounds vital and honest. Ltd x 700 copies on black vinyl with insert.

FLUTWACHT - '30 Monkeys' CD (The Tourette Tapes)
Reissue of the extremely limited (30 copies) Apocalyptic Radio release from 2006, with bonus, previously unreleased, tracks. "30 Monkeys" is the soundtrack for a world controlled by apes, crushing machines and noisescapes. "The music is a degenerate mass of harsh electronic waves and patterns as savage as the primate of the title. Even when Flutwacht lower the decibel levels down a fraction the violent restraint is never far from the surface. A brooding seething mass of noise waiting to erupt once more. The production on this release is crisp and clean... and this gives the recording a greater sense of depth and bite allowing the hugely powerful electronics full reign to take centre stage... Take the best aspects of Propergol, minus the samples, and multiply the effect by ten" [Heathen Harvest]. Ltd x 300 copies in an A5 card envelope with insert.

GALERIE SCHALLSCHUTZ - 'H.A.A.R.P.' CD (Tesco Organisation)
Based on a US military project referred to as HAARP ([High-frequency Active Auroral Research Program) near Gakona, Alaska, the material on Galerie Schallschutz's debut album is composed of extended structures that usually evolve from and into pulsating frequency patterns and deep enveloping patterns of noise. Crisp production and a subtle use of the stereo spectrum is used throughout. Presented in a super jewelbox.
Second official release from CX records, Italy. “Guya” is a new and unreleased track from the master of Japanese noise, Merzbow (Masami Akita). 18 minutes of noise bliss, a powerful sonic trip structured by feedback, digital and analogue electronics. A devastating masterpiece. The flipside features 3 new tracks recorded, composed and mixed in Berlin, Rome and Tokyo by Cris X / Cristiano Luciani in collaboration with underground Japanese musicians, Keiko Higuchi and Sachiko: a dark and visionary journey through expressionist ambient atmospheres, electronic and vocal experimentations. Ltd x 300 copies on white vinyl.

MOLJEBKA PVLSE - 'Tamon' CD (Segerhuva)
Mathias Josefsons one-man-project Moljebka Pvlse from Stockholm, Sweden here stretches the boundaries of ambient drone-music, perhaps a surprising listen for those accustomed to his other recordings put out by Eibon and Cold Meat Industry to name a few. This work to a larger degree features a sound pallette unarguably harsher than his other recordings. Tons of frenzied, computerised, but crispy clear distortion flows out over you like an ice wall and leaves the listener in a nervous state, begging for a warming aftermath. Static walls of rampant treated guitars and billowing droney backgrounds screaming endlessly out over the cold plains of the earth. Ambient gourmets also get their piece, though somewhat in a more experimental way. The final track is the 16-minute long soundtrack to the movie "A Bird Is Not An Animal" by D & D Productions. Digipak.
NOCTURNE - 'Working Ecstasy' 2 x CD (Old Europa Cafe)
The fourth release by Nocturne on OEC. Two albums full of analogue sounds, droning noises, rumours as building collapsing while bombing, sensations like driving in a endless tunnel, far alarms, electricity, S/M & B/T/K feelings, cold and freezing voids mutating into hot layers of concrete, far sampled voices… and much more… A very homogeneous work in perfect Nocturne style. Comes in a textured foldout poster sleeve.
Orcrist's new album 'Fallen' combines ice cold riffs with melancholic sounds, which will send a shiver over your backbone and create darkest sadness in your minds. The song 'Fallen' was written by Goblin of ISVIND and is dedicated to his friend Valfar of WINDIR who died in 2004. Goblin composed and recorded guitars and bass for the majority tracks and performed vocals on all tracks besides "Outro/The Return of Silence Part 2" which was written and recorded by Hugin, of the Austrian band URUK-HAI. ORCRIST is the true spirit of pure fucking Underground Black Metal! Ltd x 500 hand-numbered copies with printed inner sleeve and includes a poster.

SINWELDI - 'Is Europe Dying?' CD (SkullLine)
Beautiful Neofolk from France. "Lust sweeps of duel acoustics of which the rhythm and melodic chords are clean and crisp, at times shining with a technical flourish. What is almost immediate with the album is the strong ear for subtle melodies that the artists are so obviously gifted with. While residing more in the genre of Neofolk rather than driven martial tones the musical compositions are deft and very well structured. The keyboard adds to lushness of the acoustics and, in places, (the accordion and harmonica are also employed sparingly and appropriately in places) which may have preempted a move to more stripped-back sounds now being explored by some long established Neofolk artists." (Judas Kiss). Reissue of the debut album from 2009 (Ltd x 100 copies), now reissued as a CD proper with white tray. Ltd x 500 hand-numbered copies.

Originally released as a limited edition in 2003 (self-released). At the times of global crisis, the zombies of cultural terrorism strike again with the fire of new toxic power.
