Reissue of the extremely limited (30 copies) Apocalyptic Radio release from 2006, with bonus, previously unreleased, tracks. "30 Monkeys" is the soundtrack for a world controlled by apes, crushing machines and noisescapes. "The music is a degenerate mass of harsh electronic waves and patterns as savage as the primate of the title. Even when Flutwacht lower the decibel levels down a fraction the violent restraint is never far from the surface. A brooding seething mass of noise waiting to erupt once more. The production on this release is crisp and clean... and this gives the recording a greater sense of depth and bite allowing the hugely powerful electronics full reign to take centre stage... Take the best aspects of Propergol, minus the samples, and multiply the effect by ten" [Heathen Harvest]. Ltd x 300 copies in an A5 card envelope with insert.
Coming back with an all new album after more than 5 years the alter ego of Herbst9 delivers another outstanding soundtrack about radiological warfare and it's debris during the last century. SWT is like a massive energy spike with a surrounding maelstrom of machine noises, rhythms, interferences and electromagnetic waves. The complex arrangement of technical sounds creates a deadly atmosphere of fallout and devastated landscapes with an apocalyptic aura reflected by dissonant harmonies and deep shimmering ambient scapes. Presented in a 6 panel digipak. Mastered by Andreas Wahnmann (First Law).
MAURIZIO BIANCHI / PETER ANDERSSON / HENRIK NORDVARGR BJORKK / ERIK JARL - 'S.F.A.G. / S.F.A.G. De-Composed' 2 x CD (Old Europa Cafe)
Reissue of the 1983 cassette on the legendary Broken Flag label. "The modulatory shaking of S.F.A.G is the oxygenating prelude to the irradiating bionic music later developed through works such as “Endometrio” and “Carcinosi” and represents a milestone in my pre-apocalyptic production which later will culminate into the horrid of “Armaghedon”. The exegesis of this work reflects a strong attachment to smooth and round effects of the roughness of the frantic early days, but with a constant preference for the symbiosis between well preordered sound masses and not well defined radio broadcasts, like nebulae drifting in a space in trembling condensation." Digitally remastered by Peter Andersson (Raison D’être). The Original album is accompanied by a second CD with 3 de-compositions using extracts of the original S.F.A.G. recordings, created by 3 well known Nordic industrial artists: Peter Andersson (Raison D'Être), Henrik Nordvargr Björkk (MZ.412) and Erik Jarl (IRM). Gatefold mini LP sleeve with vinyl-look CDs.
Another release to celebrate 15 years of Megaptera! "Exended Chaos" consists of two old releases, "Near Death" and "Beautiful Chaos". "Near Death" (cassette, Sound Source 1991) was Megaptera's first official release and is the only release with all 3 members (Peter Nyström, Magnus Pettersson, Mikael Svensson). Using drum machine, various synths, movies, TV, radio and microphone they created a totally analogue and dirty death theme. On this CD, 3 bonus tracks are added from the same period. Get prepared for old school! "Beautiful Chaos" (MCD, Fever Pitch 1998), has been extended to 10 tracks. The extra material is the two classic tracks 'Shadowland' and 'Sodom' from the "Death Odors" compilation, the two tracks from the "In the Buchers Backyard" compilation, a bombastic remix of the apocalyptic 'Final Day' (by The Protagonist) and an extended version of 'Shadowland', remixed by Peter Nyström and Magnus Sundström. The sound of "Beautiful Chaos" is structured and heavy with an "end of the world" theme, using sampled and mixed sounds. Mastered by Magnus Sundström. Ltd x 500 hand-numbered copies in a stunning foldout digipak, with an embossed slipcase. Highly recommended!
Two tracks of rhythmic power noise and heavy electronics. "Shadow Theater succeed where many others fail. They really go off... The track '33rpm' is angst ridden noise at its best. A merciless barrage of sub-sonic frequencies and post-industrial noise almost bury what may be a human voice. The 'B' side of this excellent study in the long-term effects of too much time alone, 'Ein Splitter Glas', presents a vocal treatment laid over a modulating noise loop... Love it" (auralpressure). Ltd x 500 copies.

SKULLFLOWER - 'Tribulation' CD (Crucial Blast)
A black-void beaming of utterly destroyed drone rock and crushing amplifier obliteration that rains down black ash and punishing blasts of feedback skree on the listener. A dynamic, bleary-eyed meditation. An avalanche of powerdrone that threatens to take your cranium apart and transport your grey matter into filthy new dimensions infested with melodic razor cuts and submerged mantras. A triumphant eruption of apocalyptic meta-metal and radioactive raga swarms, guaranteed to loosen eardrums. This album is one of the heaviest, harshest slabs of guitar armageddon from Matthew Bower since the glory days of Total, and bridges the void between the krautrock / celestial free drone influence of the last few Skullflower albums, and the blackened molten death of his Mirag material.
SYNOMORPH - 'Recorded In Hell' CD (Apocalyptic Radio)

WOLFMANGLER - 'They Call Us Naughty Wolves' CD (God Is Myth)
D. Smolken (also of Dead Raven Choir) returns to the God is Myth stable in the form of his slow, grim and noisy chamber doom outfit Wolfmangler. With the spirit of past Wolfmangler releases where covers of folk songs, classical music pieces and jazz standards are the main lifeblood, this latest work entitled "They Call Us Naughty Wolves" is the band's unique take on pop music from yesteryear. The results are very much reminiscent of a blackened burlesque chamber ensemble funnelled through a broken radio in a post-apocalyptic wasteland picking up distorted pieces of hits from the 1930s.
