About The Job
This is an excellent opportunity for a young person seeking experience in the independent music industry.
We are now looking for an organised and focused individual to carry out a variety of duties: handling digital downloads (and digital conversion), promo mailouts and follow ups, maintaining social networks, website maintenance, general office work, as well as attending concerts, flyering and helping run merchandise stalls.
No experience is necessary, but knowledge of some or all of the following programmes is preferrable: MS Office, DreamWeaver, PhotoShop, HTML, PHP.
You must be enthusiastic, punctual, bright, creative, sociable, love music and have a great attitude. No two days are the same and you must be adaptable, willing and dependable. We've no doubt you'll enjoy working in a relaxed, thriving music-based environment, including live shows and mixing with the artists and other staff with ease. When the position ends, you will receive a reference that can work as part of your CV.
A clean driving license is advantageous, but not necessary. However, you must be within commutable distance of Northamptonshire (we are located on the mainline between Northampton and Birmingham).
As an internship, this is an unpaid position, but we will cover your travel expenses (within reason), food, drink etc. and offer free CDs, merch etc.
